Sometimes buying a car that was never even properly detailed by the dealership (since it lasted less than a day) has its drawbacks; the major being a few little things that need fixing. First, I have a driver side daytime running light out. Also, the passenger side amber marker indicator is out. And a light over the license plate. And the latch that folds my rear seat down has popped out. Nothing major, but things needing fixing anyway. Otherwise, I love this car. It is such an upgrade and I am so glad to have it!

Very nice! I see one of those for sale on my local Autotrader for a smidge under ten grand. Tempting, but alas, still too much.

I replace all but four of the exterior light bulbs on my 1990 765 Turbo within the first three months of ownership, such that I kept a full set in the car afterwards, but only needed two over the following 7 years of ownership.

Uncanny. I just got my V50 and the driver’s side running light is out as well as the passenger side mirror indicator. What is it with Volvos and bulbs?! (Also, if you do the passenger mirror light please post some pics of the process, I’m having trouble finding a definitive method without taking out the mirror...)

At least the headlights are rather easy. You pull the two pins and it comes right out. However getting that Damn bulb in particular takes a lot of skill and steady hands. I replaced both with LEDs and thought it came out rather cool.
As for the mirror, from what I read online you have to pry the mirror cap (painted part ) off using like a butter knife or flathead screwdriver. I know because I was trying to find some R Design silver mirror caps!
I’ll double check that and get back to you!

Yeah, I was watching a few videos for the mirrors and most just pull off the mirror cap although it seems that it’s very easily damaged...and for the front running lights, my manual actually recommends pliers to pull the bulb out...

From my quick google I see that the c30 uses a different mirror!!
And youll need very small pliers and smal fingers because of the location within the headlight housing. Its a terrible spot and you have to be careful not to rip out wires unintentionally.
ALSO: Have any pics of your ‘Vo?

Not yet, I’ll try to get some today...that’s why I haven’t posted officially on it yet...
